Sana’a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has reported an impending state of atmospheric instability affecting the western and central mountainous highlands over the next two days.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center’s weather bulletin indicates that surface and upper weather maps, numerical forecast outputs, and satellite imagery predict scattered rainfall of varying intensity. Some of this rainfall may be accompanied by thunder in several governorates, including Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar, Ibb, Al-Mahwit, and Raymah. Additionally, parts of the western coasts, adjacent inland areas, and the Socotra Archipelago are also expected to experience similar weather conditions.
The center has issued an alert for citizens residing in the mountainous highlands, advising them to exercise caution and avoid being in valley bottoms and flood pathways to ensure their safety during this period of atmospheric instability.
