Meteorology Predicts Rainfall in Several Governorates and Hot Weather Across Regions

Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted rainfall of varying intensity, scattered across parts of several governorates, alongside hot to very hot weather conditions in deserts, plains, coastal areas, and inland plateaus over the next 24 hours. According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the center indicates that rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is expected over the governorates of Taiz, Ibb, Al-Dhalea, Raymah, Al-Mahwit, and Hajjah. Scattered rainfall is also anticipated in limited areas of the governorates of Dhamar, Sana'a, Amran, Saada, and the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, and Shabwah, as well as parts of the Tihama Plain. The center has highlighted the likelihood of hot to very hot temperatures across deserts, plains, coastal areas, and inland plateaus. It has issued warnings to citizens in mountainous areas expecting rainfall about the potential for flash floods through ravines and valleys, advising against being present in or crossing thei r paths during and after the rainfall. In addition, there is a warning regarding the hot and very hot weather anticipated in deserts, plains, coastal areas, and inland plateaus. The public is advised to avoid direct exposure to sunlight during midday and to ensure adequate fluid intake.
