Meteorology Predicts Scattered Thunderstorms Across Multiple Governorates

Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted scattered and varying thunderstorms over parts of several governorates within the next 24 hours. According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin from the center indicates that thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected over parts of Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Dhamar, Ibb, Al-Dhalea, Raymah, and the Tihama Plain.

Additionally, the center anticipates scattered rainfall accompanied by thunder at times over regions within the highlands of Al Mahwit, Sana'a, Taiz, Al Bayda, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, and the Hadramawt Plateau.

The center has issued warnings to citizens, advising them against being in or crossing flood channels during and after rainfall and to avoid thunderstorms by staying away from electrical poles and tall trees. There are also warnings concerning potential rockfalls, mudslides, and reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountainous slopes due to rainfall and fog formation.
