Conclusion of Prophet’s Birthday Junior Championship in Sa’fan District

Sana'a: The Prophet's Birthday Football Championship for juniors, held in Sa'fan District of Sana'a Province, concluded Saturday with the final match for the 'Prophet Al-Azam Cup.' The tournament was organized by the District Office of Youth and Sports, in cooperation with the Youth Unit of the General Mobilization Authority and the Education Sector, and lasted for 12 days with the participation of eight teams.

According to Yemen News Agency, the final match took place at the Martyr Leader School field, bringing together Al-Rasul Al-Azam and Saraya Al-Quds teams. Al-Rasul Al-Azam secured a sweeping victory, defeating their rivals 7-0, in a game that drew a large crowd from across the district.

Following the match, and in the presence of the district's Director of the Youth and Sports Office, the Mobilization Officer of the area, and several social figures, the winning team was awarded the championship cup and gold medals, while the runners-up received silver medals. Awards were also presented to the tournament's best player, top scorer, and best goalkeeper, in addition to honoring the referees and several community figures who contributed to the success and proper organization of the championship.
