Miftah Discusses Streamlining Procedures & Public Services in Line with Political Leadership’s Directives

Sana'a: An expanded meeting chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah was held today in Sana'a to discuss mechanisms to organize, facilitate and simplify procedures and public services for citizens, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Administration, Local and Rural Development Mohammed Al-Madani, Ministers of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim, Economy, Industry and Investment Engineer Moeen Al-Mahakri, and Civil Service and Administrative Development Dr. Khalid Al-Hawali. They reviewed ways to develop public services, focusing on transport and public works, especially in construction, surveys, and urban planning.

During the meeting, the First Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of simplifying service procedures, noting that this step would alleviate the suffering of citizens amid ongoing aggression targeting civilians and civilian objects. He stressed that facilitating procedures is a national responsibility and reflects the political leadership's commitment to easing citizens' burdens. He called for teamwork to achieve tangible results.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Administration, Local and Rural Development emphasized forming a working group led by the First Deputy, involving relevant authorities, to expedite directive implementation and achieve desired goals.

The Minister of Transportation and Public Works expressed the ministry's readiness to provide required services and simplify procedures related to public works. He stated that the meeting aligns with government efforts to enhance service performance and fulfill citizens' aspirations, particularly in the face of current challenges.

The Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment highlighted the need for enhanced cooperation among concerned authorities to facilitate service provision to citizens.

The Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development explained that the ministry has prepared a detailed report on services related to the works sector and has initiated training courses in cooperation with Sana'a Governorate. He emphasized the importance of developing the public services system.
