Sa'ada: The Military Medical Services Point in the northern sector of Sa'ada Governorate organized a cultural event on Thursday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed. The gathering saw the participation of notable figures including Shura Council member Hadi al-Hamzi, Director of Al-Talh General Hospital Dr. Mohammed al-Khatib, and several local officials.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured a speech by Ahmed Rasea from the Military Medical Services, who emphasized the significant aspects of Prophet Mohammed's life and the religious and educational importance of the occasion. Rasea highlighted that the strength, dignity, victory, and empowerment experienced by the Yemeni people today are a result of their adherence to the Prophet's teachings, underscoring his esteemed status in the hearts of Yemenis.
Yahya al-Hamzi, Head of the Culture Sector in the governorate, remarked that the annual commemoration serves as a demonstration of the Yemeni people's love and reverence for Prophet Mohammed. He reaffirmed the community's commitment to following the Prophet's guidance and emulating his noble character in all facets of life. Al-Hamzi also called for widespread participation in the upcoming central event scheduled for Rabi' al-Awwal 12, marking the religious occasion.
Furthermore, cultural activist Fawzi al-Tayeb urged individuals to translate their emotional bond with the Prophet into practical actions. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the Prophet's righteous path and fostering values of solidarity, brotherhood, and dedication to supporting the truth and standing with the oppressed.
