Sana'a: Acting Prime Minister Al-Allama Mohammed Miftah visited the Ministries of Social Affairs and Labor, and Youth and Sports to assess their performance and extend condolences for the martyrdom of Ministers Samir Baj'alah and Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlid.

According to Yemen News Agency, the visit included meetings with Deputy Ministers Ibrahim Al-Hamali and Nabih Abu Shousa, along with senior officials. They collectively recited Al-Fatihah in memory of the martyred Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, Ministers Baj'alah and Al-Mawlid, and fellow ministers killed in the recent Israeli aggression on August 28. Al-Allama Miftah discussed the continuation of ministry operations, the implementation of priority projects, and the mobilization of resources aimed at enhancing service to vulnerable groups, including the poor and those with special needs.

Al-Allama Miftah highlighted the attack on civilian leaders as a reflection of the enemy's failure to secure military successes, framing it as an attempt to claim false moral victories. He emphasized Yemen's strengthened resolve to resist global oppression and support Palestinian resistance. The government, he assured, remains committed to supporting the ministries in executing programs that benefit social welfare and simplify processes to aid the most vulnerable.

The Acting Prime Minister praised the late ministers Baj'alah and Al-Mawlid for their dedication and affirmed the government's partnership with the ministries. Efforts to combat begging and support vulnerable populations were commended, with instructions for a detailed report on progress.

Al-Allama Miftah also celebrated the achievements of Yemen's youth football team, urging sports and youth organizations to bolster cultural and social initiatives. Deputy Ministers Al-Hamali and Abu Shousa expressed their determination to continue development projects and uphold their duties, inspired by the sacrifices of the martyrs, to support the oppressed in Gaza.
