Taiz: Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mohammed al-Muwalad and Acting Governor of Taiz Ahmed al-Masawa inspected the summer courses in the province. They were accompanied by Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region Brigadier General Mohammed al-Khalid, Province Mobilization Officer Mohammed al-Khalidi, and Director of the Youth and Sports Office Saeed al-Sanafi. Their inspection covered activities at al-Nour Asrar School, al-Furqan School, al-Saeed School in Al-Samakar, and Imam Ali School in al-Jand in al-Taezeyah district.
According to Yemen News Agency, Minister al-Muwalad highlighted the significance of summer activities and courses in reinforcing faith identity and instilling Quranic culture among young people. He stressed that these activities protect youths from external threats against societal values. The minister also indicated that these courses offer attendees the chance to gain valuable knowledge, life skills, and participate in agricultural, sports, and recreational programs.
Minister al-Muwalad commended the efforts of all those involved in organizing these courses, including the governorate's subcommittee, school administrators, and parents who encouraged their children's participation. He called for enhanced efforts to ensure the success of these educational and developmental activities.
Acting Governor al-Masawa also underscored the importance of the summer courses in shielding students from negative influences and false cultures. He emphasized their role in strengthening students' spiritual connections, expanding their knowledge, and developing their various talents. The courses include sports, awareness, and cultural activities aimed at skill enhancement across different areas.
