Ministry of Culture Unveils Yahya Sinwar Martyr Writer Competition

Sana'a: The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has announced the launch of the inaugural Yahya Sinwar Martyr Writer Competition, themed "The Al-Aqsa Flood and the Fronts of Support and Resistance." This short story competition invites participants from Yemen, the broader Arab world, and the Islamic world to engage in a literary endeavor that aims to unify and reflect shared values and identities.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry highlighted in a statement that the competition will run from today, May 9th, until October 7th, 2026. It is designed to encourage the creation of resistance-oriented literature that not only unites the nation but also reinforces its values and identity. Furthermore, it aims to promote literary, cultural, intellectual, and aesthetic exchange that bolsters the values of thought, culture, art, and creativity on a broader scale.
