Hodeida: The Ministry of Health and Environment condemned the Saudi-led aggression's targeting of civilian facilities, including the port of Hodeida and Kamaran Island, resulting in injuries to a telecommunications worker in Hodeida and a woman on Kamaran Island.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry of Health labeled this act as a continuation of the Saudi enemy's systematic attacks on vital infrastructure, infringing upon basic citizen rights. The Ministry stated that this is a violation of international and humanitarian norms and breaches international humanitarian law.
The Ministry's statement highlighted that the ongoing attacks on civilians and infrastructure, especially service facilities, indicate the aggression forces' persistence in their approach, showing disregard for the sanctity of life protected by divine laws and international conventions.
The statement underlined that these acts represent a dangerous escalation putting civilians' lives in jeopardy, holding the Saudi enemy accountable for the humanitarian and health consequences. It called on the international community, the United Nations, and international human rights and health organizations to condemn this crime, apply pressure to halt the attacks, and launch impartial investigations into these violations against the Yemeni people.
The Ministry urged medical and ambulance personnel to intensify their efforts to rescue the wounded and provide necessary care.
