Ministry of Social Affairs Delivers Eid Convoy to Saada Border Guards


Saada: The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor delivered an Eid convoy during visits to the border guards stationed in the Baqim, Raboua, and Abu Hadid sectors of Saada Governorate on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. The convoy included sheep, Eid gifts, food supplies, and symbolic cash to the guards in celebration of both Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Ghadir.



According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Ibrahim al-Hamli, along with the ministry’s undersecretaries for social welfare, Muhammad Aqabat; labor affairs, Abdullah Haidar; and economic empowerment, al-Hassan al-Dhari, and the Executive Director of the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled, Dr. Ali Mughli, exchanged greetings with the guards on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and the anniversary of the appointment of Imam Ali as the successor to the Prophet Muhammad.



The Deputy Minister conveyed to the guards the greetings of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the political leadership on this occasion. The visitors expressed their pride and admiration for the steadfastness and sacrifices of the defenders, acknowledging the victories they have achieved in defense of their religion, homeland, and sovereignty.



They emphasized their eagerness to visit the defenders to offer their Eid greetings and share in the festive atmosphere. The convoy underscores the continued support for those stationed on the front lines, serving as a testament to their loyalty and gratitude for the sacrifices and resilience of the defenders in protecting their land and honor.



The defenders, in turn, expressed their gratitude for the visit, which reflects the concern shown for their well-being and participation in commemorating Eid al-Ghadir. They affirmed their commitment to fulfilling their religious and national duty until victory is achieved.
