Ministry of Youth Organizes Trip for Al-Jeel Al-Sa’ed Club Delegation to Dar Al-Hajar

Sana'a: The General Administration of Cultural and Social Activity at the Ministry of Youth and Sports organized today a recreational trip for the delegation of Al-Jeel Al-Sa'ed Club from Abyan Governorate to the historic archaeological landmark "Dar Al-Hajar" in the Wadi Dahr area on the outskirts of the capital, Sana'a.

According to Yemen News Agency, this trip comes within the framework of the accompanying programs and activities organized by the Ministry for the sports teams participating in the Republic Cup tournament. The initiative aims to familiarize youth and athletes with the historical and civilizational landmarks that the country abounds with, and to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and acquaintance among athletes from various governorates.

The Director of Cultural and Social Activity, Mohammed Haj, affirmed the Ministry's keenness to organize such tourism and recreational activities and programs for the sports delegations coming from various governorates. These activities contribute to the development of youth knowledge, deepen their connection to Yemeni identity and history, and provide a positive atmosphere that contributes to the success of the tournament's competitions.

The delegation members expressed their great joy at visiting this unique historical landmark, which stands as a testament to the greatness of authentic Yemeni architecture. They praised this generous gesture by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which helps alleviate the pressures of sports competitions and gives them the opportunity to closely learn about the cultural and historical heritage of their country.

The delegation was accompanied during the visit by the Director of Libraries, Walid Numan, the Director of Social Activity, Riyad Al-Umaysi, and the Financial Officer for Cultural Activity, Ibrahim Al-Hamzi.
