Distribution of School Bags to Children of Wounded and Disabled Persons in Dhamar

Dhamar: The Social Welfare Department in Dhamar Governorate launched on Sunday the distribution of fully equipped school bags to 1,820 male and female students from the children of wounded disabled persons, prisoners, and psychological cases for the 1448 Hijri academic year.

According to Yemen News Agency, the department's official, Abdul Latif Luqman, explained that the distribution of school bags is part of a project aimed at providing basic needs for the families of prisoners and wounded disabled persons. This initiative is implemented under the sponsorship of the Social Welfare Directorate at the Ministry of Defense and Military Production.

He noted that the distribution process covers the targeted families across all districts, following the mechanism set by the governorate's Social Welfare Department. Luqman stated that these projects reflect the attention of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and local authorities in providing full care for the families of prisoners, wounded, and martyrs, and in honoring their sacrifices. He emphasized the importance of strengthening efforts to continuously meet the needs of these families and support their welfare.
