Mohammed Houthi Offers Condolences on Death of Shura Councilor Ghathaya

Sanaa: Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council, sent a message of condolence and sympathy on the death of Shura Council member Sheikh Hassan Hamoud Mohammed Ghathaya, after a life full of service.

According to Yemen News Agency, in his message of condolence to the deceased's sons, Sheikh Hafez and Sheikh Taha, the Supreme Political Council member praised the virtues of the deceased and his honorable national stances in confronting the American-Saudi aggression and defending the homeland. He also commended his contributions to social solidarity and reconciliation efforts, the honor of accompanying the martyred leader, and his pursuit of knowledge under the esteemed scholar Sayyid Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

Al-Houthi expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the sons of the deceased, all members of his family, the tribes of Maran, and the people of Saada Governorate in general, asking Allah Almighty to grant the deceased His abundant mercy, admit him to Paradise, and grant his family and loved ones patience and solace.

"Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return."
