Sana'a: The Moral Guidance Department of the Armed Forces organized a seminar in the capital Sana'a on Tuesday entitled "The Yemeni Role in Confronting American Hegemony: The Battle of the Red Sea as a Case Study."

According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar was attended by researchers and those interested in military and geopolitical studies, discussing three working papers. Brigadier General Abdullah bin Amer, Deputy Director of the Moral Guidance Department and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the 26 September newspaper, presented the first paper. He addressed the implications, dimensions, and outcomes of the open naval battle waged by the Yemeni Armed Forces against the American-Zionist alliance and its affiliated countries, within the framework of Yemen's supportive role for the Palestinian people against the Israeli occupation entity.

Bin Amer emphasized Yemen's success in asserting its will to continue supporting the Gaza Strip, despite the temptations and pressures it faced initially, culminating in the military war waged against it over the past two years. He noted that the battle marked a turning point not only in Yemeni history but also in global military history, attracting attention from international research centers and foreign military experts.

He highlighted the battle's contribution to changing naval concepts globally and enhancing Yemen's presence regionally and internationally. American military commanders, European powers, Russia, and China acknowledged this shift. Bin Amer pointed out that Yemen now has influence in the region, with the battle neutralizing the Red Sea region and preventing it from becoming a theater for hostile military operations against any Islamic country.

He also mentioned Yemen's significant success in supporting Gaza by targeting important Israeli targets within the occupied Palestinian territories and imposing a two-year ban on Israeli navigation in the Red Sea. Yemen was the first country to use ballistic missiles against American aircraft carriers and naval targets.

Brigadier General Bin Amer indicated that Yemeni military tactics in the naval battle against America and its allies have led to calls for changes in naval curricula in military colleges worldwide. He noted that Yemen has been subjected to American-Zionist airstrikes causing human and material losses, including the targeting of newspapers and the assassination of journalists.

Colonel Zakaria al-Sharabi, head of the Information Center at the Moral Guidance Department, reviewed the achievements and successes of the armed forces, including the downing of American drones and fighter jets and damage to American aircraft carriers. He also addressed reports published by research centers and admissions from American military leaders about the seriousness of the attacks on the US Navy.

Economist Rashid al-Haddad discussed the repercussions of the Yemeni naval blockade on the Zionist entity, leading to significant financial losses and an economic recession affecting various sectors of its economy.
