Most Companies on Beijing Stock Exchange Post Profits in First Three Quarters

Beijing: A total of 230 out of 279 companies listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange recorded net profits during the first nine months of 2025. According to Yemen News Agency, a Friday report by Xinhua News Agency, citing data from the exchange, revealed that as of 30 October, companies that released their third-quarter reports posted an average operating revenue of 520 million yuan (about 73.4 million USD), marking an increase of 6% year-on-year, with an average net profit of around 32.99 million yuan. As of 14 November, the number of companies listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange reached 282, with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) making up more than 80%, and private companies comprising nearly 90%. The exchange, which began trading operations in 2021 to meet the financing needs of smaller firms, announced plans to strengthen development planning for the upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030) to better support innovation-driven small and medium-sized enterprises.
