Sana'a: The central closing ceremony for the activities of the 1447 AH summer courses for the Capital Secretariat and Sana'a Governorate was held on Sunday in the capital, Sana'a. During the ceremony, the Acting Prime Minister, Mohammed Muftah, congratulated the students on the academic, cultural, and sports achievements they gained throughout the summer courses.
According to Yemen News Agency, Muftah praised the outstanding performance presented by the students on the final day, describing it as a source of pride for their parents, families, and society. He remarked on the global political climate, stating, "As we conclude this year's summer courses, the Zionist and American enemy continues to commit the most heinous crimes against the nation and its sanctities, insulting the Holy Qur'an and shedding the blood of innocents in Gaza, Al-Quds, all of Palestine, Lebanon, and the region."
Muftah affirmed that this criminal aggression requires collective readiness to uproot its arrogance and tyranny. He added, "What the honorable people of Yemen are doing through preparation and readiness is aimed at purifying the land from the filth of malicious Zionism, which represents a cancerous tumor in our region and a plague spreading across the world." He also expressed gratitude to the organizers of the closing ceremony and all those who contributed to its success, including the attendees, students, and those in charge of the summer schools, such as teachers, trainers, and technicians. He further appreciated the media professionals who covered the activities and highlighted the programs related to the summer courses.
In the event, which was attended by several members of the Shura Council, the Capital Secretariat's Mayor, Dr. Hammoud Obad, described the summer course students as the generation of the promised victory, dignity, jihad, knowledge, and excellence-one that will change the reality of the nation through the Qur'anic approach and culture they carry. Dr. Obad stated, "The Qur'anic generation, prepared by the leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, is being shaped to be a generation that will strike the thrones of those who have sunk into humiliation and subjugation under Zionist and American influence, and all tyrants and arrogant powers."
Dr. Obad noted that the rising generation will bring about transformations in human consciousness and in the balance of resistance forces against oppressors, defending the Holy Qur'an, Islamic sanctities, and the nation's causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
The ceremony, attended by Deputy Ministers of Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hatem Al-Du'eis, and Youth and Sports, Nabih Nasser, along with the First Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat and head of the subcommittee for activities and summer courses, Khaled Al-Madani, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Hadi Ammar, and the Deputy Governor of Sana'a and head of the subcommittee, Talib Dahan, featured a speech by the students. They affirmed that the enemies' insults against the Qur'an, Islam, and its sanctities would only increase the new generation's adherence to the Book of God and their determination to support it.
The speech emphasized that the duty of the nation today is to act responsibly with Qur'anic awareness to confront and dismantle the malicious Zionist and American schemes and protect Islamic sanctities. It also included a message to the people of Palestine, stating, "We send a sincere message of loyalty to our colleagues and brothers in Palestine, to the heroic people of Gaza-its children, youth, and men-and to the loyal fighters of Hezbollah in Lebanon: you are not alone, and you will never be alone."
It added, "We will not abandon you, because in these schools we learn the meanings of loyalty, brotherhood, support, and solidarity. We learn pride, dignity, and a life free from humiliation. So raise your heads high, and we are your support and reinforcement." Addressing the forces of arrogance and enemies, it said, "Woe to you from our strength and harm. The generation of the Qur'an has risen, and your fragile thrones will be shattered under the feet of the faithful youth."
The students' speech praised the efforts of teachers and all those who worked with dedication and sincerity to ensure the success of the summer courses and to teach the younger generation the Holy Qur'an, its sciences, Qur'anic culture, and various skills.
The closing event, attended by thousands of students from the Capital Secretariat and Sana'a Governorate, included a scout parade and a choral operetta titled "The Moon Has Appeared," along with various performances reflecting their discipline and the benefits gained from the programs of the summer courses. The concluding segments, which opened with a recitation from the Holy Qur'an, featured participants raising copies of the Qur'an alongside the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, highlighting the success of the summer courses and the fruitful educational, cultural, awareness, and social outcomes they achieved.
