Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange 30 Index closed on Monday at 5710.38 points, rising by 4.7 points, or 0.08%, compared to the previous trading session, which stood at 5705.72 points. According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value reached 36,285,582 Omani riyals, marking an increase of 6.4% compared to the last session's value of 34,089,116 Omani riyals. The report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that the market capitalization rose by 0.091% from the previous trading day, reaching approximately 31.66 billion Omani riyals. The value of purchases by non-Omanis amounted to 3,928,000 Omani riyals, representing 10.82% of the total trading value. Meanwhile, sales by non-Omanis reached 3,556,000 Omani riyals, or 9.80% of the total. As a result, net non-Omani investment increased by 372,000 Omani riyals, up by 1.03%.
