Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 index closed at 4,612.52 points on Tuesday, recording a decline of 14 points or 0.30% from the previous trading session, which concluded at 4,626.57 points.

According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value surged to 24,204,384 Omani riyals, showing a significant rise of 129.6% compared to the last session's trading value of 10,541,670 Omani riyals. The daily report released by the Muscat Stock Exchange revealed a decrease in market capitalization by 0.081%, bringing it to around 28.47 billion Omani riyals.

Non-Omani investors were active in the market, with purchases amounting to 1,599,000 Omani riyals, which made up 6.61% of the total trading. Their sales reached 1,790,000 Omani riyals, accounting for 7.39% of the trading. This resulted in a net decline in foreign investment by 191,000 Omani riyals, or 0.79%.
