Rome: Gold prices rose on Friday as the dollar weakened after private sector jobs reports pointed to a weak US labor market, reinforcing expectations of another interest rate cut. Spot gold climbed 0.4% to $3,994.03 per ounce, but is on track for a weekly loss of 0.3%. According to Yemen News Agency, the precious metal has fallen by about 8% since hitting an all-time high of $4,381.21 on October 20. US gold futures rose 0.3% to $4,004.40 per ounce.
