Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 index closed on Monday at 4,626.57 points, rising by 4.3 points or 0.09% compared to the previous trading session, which stood at 4,622.26 points. The trading value reached 10 million, 541 thousand, 670 Omani riyals, marking an increase of 2.3% from the last session's value of 10 million, 300 thousand, 625 Omani riyals. According to Yemen News Agency, the daily report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that the market capitalization rose by 0.068% compared to the previous trading day, reaching approximately 28.50 billion Omani riyals. The value of shares purchased by non-Omani investors amounted to 615 thousand Omani riyals, representing 5.84% of total trading. Meanwhile, the value of shares sold by non-Omani investors stood at 872 thousand Omani riyals, or 8.27% of the total. Consequently, the net foreign investment declined by 256 thousand Omani riyals, a decrease of 2.43%.
