Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX 30) index closed today at 4,893.61 points, registering an increase of 30.3 points or 0.62% from the previous trading session, which ended at 4,863.32 points. According to Yemen News Agency, the total value of trading amounted to 28,393,583 Omani rials, marking a decrease of 1.7% from the last session's value of 28,875,844 Omani rials. The daily report from the Muscat Stock Exchange highlighted that market capitalization rose by 0.355% since the last trading day, reaching approximately 29.57 billion Omani rials. The report also detailed the activity of non-Omani investors. Purchases by non-Omanis totaled 1,453,000 Omani rials, accounting for 5.12% of the total trading value. Meanwhile, sales by non-Omanis amounted to 1,545,000 Omani rials, representing 5.44% of the overall transactions. Consequently, the net non-Omani investment decreased by 92,000 Omani rials, reflecting a decline of 0.32%.
