Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "30" index closed on Tuesday at 5526.47 points, rising by 94.4 points or 1.74 percent compared to the last trading session which reached 5432.09 points. The trading value reached 91 million, 646 thousand, and 491 Omani riyals, increasing by 199.67 percent compared to the last trading session which recorded 30 million, 582 thousand, and 835 Omani riyals.
According to Yemen News Agency, the daily report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that the market value rose by 0.686 percent compared to the last trading day, reaching approximately 31.17 billion Omani riyals. The purchase value by non-Omanis in the exchange reached 6 million and 526 thousand Omani riyals, representing 7.12 percent, while the sale value by non-Omanis reached 5 million and 167 thousand Omani riyals, representing 5.64 percent. Meanwhile, the net investment by non-Omanis increased by 1 million and 359 thousand Omani riyals, or 1.48 percent.
