Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed today, Sunday, at 5705.72 points, up 69.7 points, or 1.24 percent, compared to the previous trading session's close of 5635.99 points. Trading value reached 34,089,116 Omani rials, marking a 29.4 percent increase compared to the previous session's value of 26,344,853 Omani rials.
According to Yemen News Agency, the daily report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that the market capitalization rose by 0.785 percent compared to the previous trading day, reaching approximately 31.63 billion Omani rials. Non-Omani purchases on the stock exchange amounted to 3 million and 233 thousand Omani riyals, constituting 9.48 percent, while non-Omani sales amounted to 3 million and 186 thousand Omani riyals, constituting 9.35 percent. The net non-Omani investment increased by 47 thousand Omani riyals, or 0.14 percent.
