Tehran: Iran's foreign trade volume during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (which began on March 21) reached 131,054,000 tons, valued at $76.537 billion.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Fars News Agency reported on Sunday, citing Iranian customs data, that Iran's foreign trade volume (total exports and imports) during the first eight months of the current year (March 21 to November 21) reached 131,054,000 tons of various goods, valued at $76.537 billion. This represents a 9.38% decrease in value and a 1.53% increase in weight compared to the same period last year.
The data also showed that during this period, 105,231,000 tons of various goods, valued at $36.997 billion, were exported to different countries worldwide. This represents a 1.17% increase in weight and a 3.48% decrease in value compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, 25,823,000 tons of goods, valued at $39.540 billion, were imported into the country during the first eight months of this year. This represents a 3% increase in weight and a 14.29% decrease in value compared to the same period last year.
