Trade Volume Between Russia & China Increases By 67%

Hodeidah: Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov confirmed that the volume of trade between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China increased by 67% over the past three years. In an interview with Sputnik News Agency on Friday, Morgulov said, "After the departure of a number of Western companies from Russia, Chinese entrepreneurs were able to quickly introduce their products to Russian markets in the required quantities." He added, "Likewise, local exporters were able to effectively redirect the flow of goods to China, strengthening their position in the local market." According to Yemen News Agency, he explained that "the volume of bilateral trade increased by a significant 67% over the past three years," and that the volume of trade exchange between Russia and China has exceeded $240 billion for two consecutive years.
