Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index experienced a significant increase, closing Monday at 7282.94 points. This marked an upward shift of 154.4 points, or 2.17 percent, from the previous trading session's close of 7128.52 points.
According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value saw a rise, reaching 59,413,709 Omani rials. This was a 15.6 percent increase compared to the previous session's trading value of 51,414,410 Omani rials. The daily report released by the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that the market capitalization also climbed by 1.000 percent from the previous trading day, amounting to approximately 35.96 billion Omani rials.
Non-Omani investors were active in the market, with purchases totaling 8 million and 986 thousand Omani riyals, representing 15.12 percent of the trades. Their sales amounted to 4 million and 721 thousand Omani riyals, or 7.95 percent. The net non-Omani investment saw an increase of 4 million and 265 thousand Omani riyals, equating to 7.18 percent.
