Tehran: The Head of the Iran-Qatar Joint Chamber of Commerce, Khorshid Kazerani, announced that the volume of Iranian exports to Qatar since the beginning of this year has reached a value of $115 million, marking a growth of 14 percent compared to the same period last year.
According to Yemen News Agency, Kazerani stated that the Qatari market offers a suitable environment for the supply and presentation of Iranian agricultural, marine, and mineral products. He emphasized that the increasing trend is not confined to Qatar alone, as Iran's exports to other Persian Gulf countries have also experienced significant growth.
Kazerani highlighted that these countries not only consume Iranian products but also serve as transit corridors for goods, facilitating re-export to other destinations. This situation presents a valuable opportunity for Iranian exporters, and in recent years, Qatar, along with other countries in the region, has emerged as a key destination for Iranian mineral exports.
