Sana'a: The General Secretary of the Local Council in Ibb governorate, Amin al-Warafi, along with Dr. Badr al-Farah, head of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Sector, inaugurated the ministerial examinations for technical and vocational students. The exams aim to evaluate educational outcomes and assess students' skills and knowledge.
According to Yemen News Agency, officials were briefed on the exam procedures and organizational measures put in place to ensure the smooth conduct and discipline across examination centers. Al-Warafi emphasized the importance of supporting technical and vocational education as a foundational element for economic development, highlighting its role in producing qualified cadres for the labor market and addressing labor needs.
Dr. al-Farah explained that the exams encompass all academic levels and specialties, including vocational diplomas, technical secondary education, and technical diplomas, as well as medical fields such as pharmacy, laboratory sciences, nursing, and midwifery. He noted that examination centers have been fully equipped with organizational mechanisms to ensure transparency and smooth implementation.
