Sanaa: The Traffic Police commemorated the annual anniversary of the 'Al-Sarkah against the arrogant' on Saturday through a significant speech ceremony. At the event, Major General Dr. Bakeel Al-Baraashi, Director General of the Traffic Police, highlighted the importance of the Al-Sarkah movement, initiated by the late leader Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi. He emphasized that the movement has reinvigorated a spirit of struggle, pride, and dignity within the nation, serving as a symbol of freedom and a stance that instills fear in oppressive forces.
According to Yemen News Agency, Major General Al-Baraashi asserted that the Al-Sarkah slogan serves as a means to liberate Islamic nations from the domination and subjugation imposed by external agents. He criticized the stance of the United States and its allies towards the slogan, interpreting it as evidence of its effectiveness in revealing conspiracies targeting these nations. He further stressed the importance of adhering to the Qur'anic project and following the path set by the late leader to counter external schemes and guardianship.
Colonel Hussein Al-Mukhtafi, Director of the Inspector General's Office at the Traffic Police, also spoke at the event, discussing the significance of the slogan as a stance of disavowal from national adversaries. He underscored its role in rejecting American and Zionist policies that aim to dominate, exploit resources, and violate sovereignty. He highlighted the importance of commemorating the Al-Sarkah anniversary, initiated during a period of widespread silence, and emphasized the necessity of arming oneself with Qur'anic culture and a faith-based identity to increase awareness of colonial plans and continue boycotting American and Israeli products.
