Sana'a: The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the capital Sana'a, Ali Al-Hadi, has expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Investment's decision to grant an exceptional grace period to commercial agencies affected by Deletion Decision No. (65) of 2026. This period allows agencies to correct their status and renew registrations.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Hadi emphasized that the successful collaboration between the private sector and the state demonstrates a genuine partnership. He noted that the decision to delay the cancellation of 4,225 commercial agencies for 90 days underscores the Ministry's dedication to preserving commercial rights, ensuring market stability, and mitigating potential economic repercussions from the final cancellation.

Al-Hadi urged affected private sector members to quickly renew their registrations within this 'non-extendable' grace period by approaching the Ministry's Business Services Sector. He highlighted the Chamber's ongoing commitment to addressing member concerns and facilitating solutions, while also commending the cooperative attitude of Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Sam Al-Bashiri, in promoting public interest and the national economy.
