Sana'a: The National Human Rights Commission condemned on Wednesday the series of brutal crimes and massacres perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against the Lebanese people, which have escalated in recent hours.

According to Yemen News Agency, in a statement issued by the Commission, it expressed extreme anger and indignation over the brutal crimes and massacres committed by the Zionist enemy entity against the brotherly Lebanese people. The escalation, targeting the capital Beirut, the southern suburbs, cities in the south, the Bekaa Valley, and Hermel, involved indiscriminate airstrikes impacting densely populated residential areas, health facilities, and funeral processions.

The Commission condemned this criminal escalation, which has resulted in hundreds of martyrs and wounded individuals, including children and women, alongside widespread infrastructure destruction.

The National Human Rights Commission affirmed that the Zionist enemy's deliberate targeting of populated areas in Burj Abi Haidar, Al-Manara, Sidon, Shamshtar, Adloun, and others constitutes a full-fledged war crime and a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions, which criminalize targeting civilians and civilian objects.

It stated that the bombing of the Islamic Health Authority's centers in Hermel and the targeting of medical personnel proves beyond any doubt this entity's insistence on violating all international laws and humanitarian norms, amidst a shameful international silence that has emboldened it to continue its aggression.

The Commission held the international community, the United Nations, and international human rights organizations fully responsible for their silence and complicity, which gives the Zionist enemy the green light to commit further massacres against civilians in Lebanon and Palestine.

It reiterated its complete and unwavering solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people and their legitimate right to defend themselves and confront this barbaric aggression, praising the Lebanese people's steadfastness and their social and humanitarian solidarity in the face of the Zionist killing machine.

The Authority also affirmed that these crimes will not be forgotten, and that the enemy's continued bloodshed of innocent people will hasten its demise and the collapse of its criminal project in the region.
