National Human Rights Authority Holds Event to Commemorate Prophet’s Birthday

Sanaa: The National Human Rights Authority held a gathering on Saturday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. During the event, Authority Chairman Ali Taysir stressed the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birth as an occasion to recall his noble life and reflect on his message based on mercy, justice, tolerance, benevolence, and respect for human dignity.

According to Yemen News Agency, Taysir emphasized that these values constitute essential foundations for building a cohesive society based on love, cooperation, and mutual respect. He noted that the Prophet's biography is rich in lessons emphasizing respect for human beings and protection of their rights while promoting justice, equality, coexistence, and acceptance of others. He underscored the importance of translating these principles into practical conduct in professional and human relations, both inside and outside the workplace.

The Authority chairman called on employees to follow the Prophet's noble example and uphold the values of honesty, sincerity, compassion, and cooperation, while continuing to fulfill their responsibilities in a spirit of teamwork that enhances institutional performance and supports the Authority's mission of promoting, protecting, and advancing human rights. He commended the efforts of Authority staff in implementing its programs and initiatives, stressing that serving people and safeguarding their rights is a shared responsibility requiring coordinated efforts, a culture of dialogue, and greater awareness of noble human values and principles inspired by the life of the Prophet.
