National Women’s Committee Hosts Celebration for Prophet’s Birthday in Al Hudaydah

Al hudaydah: The National Women's Committee in Al Hudaydah Governorate, in collaboration with the Makers of Tomorrow School in Al Hali District, organized a celebration to honor the birthday of the Prophet, may peace be upon him and his family. The event was attended by notable figures such as Mu'ayyad Al-Mu'aydi, the district director, and Mahmoud Al-Washli, the deputy head of the education sector in the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, Fairouz Al-Wisi, the director general of the National Women's Committee branch, spoke at the event about the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday. She highlighted its role in strengthening the connection of Yemenis to the teachings of the Prophet, grounded in their faith-based identity. Al-Wisi emphasized that the occasion serves as an educational and spiritual milestone, reinforcing Muhammadan values and enhancing the role of women in instilling these values in future generations.

Al-Wisi also discussed the various activities and programs the committee has implemented to honor this significant occasion. She noted that the active participation of women across different districts reflects their commitment to promoting a faith-based identity and raising community awareness. The event was aimed at consolidating principles such as justice, solidarity, and cooperation within society.

Saleh Al-Harazi, the Secretary-General of the Local Council in the district, remarked on the strong presence of women at the event as evidence of the profound reverence Yemenis hold for the Prophet. He stated that celebrating the Prophet's birthday reinforces the faith identity and encourages a spirit of giving and devotion towards serving the nation and community.

Additional speeches from education sector representatives, district committee officials, and the school administration highlighted the significance of the anniversary. They stressed its role as a catalyst for instilling values of mercy, justice, and solidarity, inspiring future generations to emulate the Prophet's example in both knowledge and action.

The event was attended by Hassan Wahban, the district's education sector official; Ahmed Mansour, the Director of the Activities Department; Ibrahim Addas, the Director of Private Education in the governorate; Nawal Al-Aqili, the Director of the Girls' Education Department; staff from the National Women's Committee; and numerous educational and social figures.
