Al-mahwit: The Chairman of the Public Authority for Endowments and Guidance Allamah Abdulmajid Al-Houthi and Al-Mahwit Governor Haneen Qatina inaugurated the new building of the Authority's office in the governorate, at a cost of 50 million rials financed by the Authority, coinciding with celebrations marking the Prophet Mohammed's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the new building is part of the Authority's efforts to strengthen its institutional presence in the governorates, improve administrative and public services, enhance the work environment, facilitate citizens' transactions, and protect and develop endowment funds and properties. Al-Houthi emphasized that the new building represents a significant step toward strengthening institutional work in the endowments sector and improving services provided to citizens. He highlighted the importance of protecting, developing, and investing endowment assets and ensuring their proceeds align with Islamic law and the objectives of the endowers.
Al-Houthi also highlighted the Authority's commitment to supporting its provincial offices by providing necessary resources to perform their duties effectively, while acknowledging the efforts that contributed to completing and equipping the new building.
Governor Qatina stated that the new office would enhance administrative and institutional work in the endowments sector, provide a suitable working environment, and improve services for citizens. He affirmed the local authority's readiness to facilitate the office's work and strengthen coordination with the Authority to protect, manage, and develop endowment properties for the benefit of the people of Al-Mahwit.
Director of the Authority's office in Al-Mahwit, Abdulhakim Al-Shami, mentioned that the office will focus on following up on endowment affairs, improving administrative and service performance, and facilitating related transactions.
The inauguration included speeches stressing the importance of protecting endowments, along with cultural segments celebrating the Prophet Mohammed's birthday and highlighting values of charity, solidarity, and community service.
