Al-hodeida: The Security Administrations of the Northern Region and Al-Zaydiyah District in Al-Hodeida Governorate organized a celebratory evening to mark the occasion of Mawlid al-Nabawi, under the theme "Here I am, O Messenger of God." The event aimed to honor the birth of the Prophet Muhammad and celebrate his lasting impact on humanity.
According to Yemen News Agency, the gathering was attended by the Deputy Governor and various security officials. The event was marked by speeches that highlighted the Prophet Muhammad's biography and the enduring lessons derived from his life. Officials at the event emphasized that the Prophet's character serves as a guiding light for humanity, marking a significant historical shift from darkness to enlightenment.
Speakers also pointed out that Yemenis have consistently been loyal to the Prophet and his teachings. Today, this loyalty is demonstrated through widespread participation in Mawlid celebrations, which they believe reflects the popular awareness, social cohesion, and national unity prevalent in the region.
The evening was enriched with poetic and chanting segments, which expressed the joy and reverence felt by the attendees on this auspicious occasion.
