Oil Ministry Reviews Security, Safety Measures with Emergency Team

Sana'a: Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Abdullah al-Amir held a meeting in the capital Sana'a with the Emergency Assessment Team to review security and safety measures at the Ministry and its affiliated units. The meeting aimed to assess preparedness levels and current procedures to protect facilities and personnel, while ensuring continuity of operations under different conditions.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Minister emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination between emergency teams and technical units. He also stressed the need to adhere to occupational safety standards and regularly update emergency plans in accordance with emerging challenges. The meeting highlighted the critical role of these measures in safeguarding the Ministry's operations and personnel.

Deputy Minister and Head of the Emergency Team Mohammed Al-Najjar outlined key challenges facing the teams and the measures taken to address them. He presented a safety risk assessment matrix for the Ministry and its entities, which is expected to guide future safety protocols and emergency response strategies.
