Amran: The local authority and mobilization in Amran governorate held a speech event on Thursday to mark the annual anniversary of the "Screaming Against Arrogance" slogan, under the theme "The Scream: A Weapon and a Stance."
According to Yemen News Agency, Amran undersecretary Hassan al-Ashqis highlighted the historical moments of the slogan's inception in the Maran area, Sa'ada province, and its ongoing impact, emphasizing its role in restoring pride and dignity to the Yemeni people and the nation. He underscored that commemorating the slogan's anniversary reflects the community's deep connection with the Qur'anic project and its responsibility to confront challenges targeting the ummah.
Al-Ashqis also spoke of the late leader's role in guiding the nation back to the right path, awakening it with the Qur'anic project, and strengthening national unity and cultural identity. The event, attended by local officials, military and security leaders, and social figures, highlighted the significance of reaffirming the nation's stance against imperialism, particularly the U.S. and Israel, while also reinforcing steadfastness in the face of foreign aggression.
Amran District Director Aqeel Sharif stressed the importance of this commemoration in rejecting the enemies of Islam and defending the nation from external plans aimed at weakening it and exploiting its resources. He also called for strengthening the resolve to confront the imperialist projects threatening the region.
