Opening of Athmar Cooperative Association Headquarters and Agricultural Services Center in Bani Hushaysh District

Bani hushaysh: The local authority and mobilization officials in Bani Hushaysh District inaugurated the main headquarters of the Athmar Bani Hushaysh Agricultural Cooperative Association and its affiliated agricultural services center in the Al-Fars area on Saturday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the inauguration was attended by notable figures including member of the Shura Council Mohammed Mufaddal and governorate mobilization official Faiz Al-Hanmi. Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in the governorate, Maged Al-Gheili, along with district director Rajeh Al-Hanmi, highlighted the strategic vision behind the inauguration. They emphasized the importance of strengthening and developing cooperative work within the agricultural sector, identifying it as a crucial element for food and economic security in the region.

The officials explained that the main center is aimed at facilitating access to integrated agricultural services for farmers, offering high-quality agricultural inputs at affordable prices, and providing technical consultations. These efforts are geared towards enhancing production efficiency and improving crop quality. Al-Gheili and Al-Hanmi reiterated that the opening of the center is part of broader efforts to advance the agricultural sector and bolster cooperative work across the governorate.

Also present at the inauguration were local council secretary of the district Ibrahim Al-Jailani, district mobilization official Walid Al-Arqada, association head Ali Al-Adar, Secretary-General Ahmed Al-Hijazi, and Executive Director Zaid Maasar. They affirmed that the center would act as a vital service outlet for farmers, addressing their needs and helping to overcome field challenges. The initiative is part of the association's sustainable agricultural development plans, aimed at improving production, developing local resources, and fostering a spirit of solidarity and collective work among district residents.
