Parliament Deputy Speaker Akram Atiyah Offers Condolences on the Passing of Judge Mohammed Abdullah Al-Salmi


Sanaa: Deputy Speaker of Parliament Akram Atiyah sent a cable of condolences and sympathy on the passing of the Head of the Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum, Judge and scholar Mohammed Abdullah Al-Salmi, who passed away at the age of 74 after a life rich in dedication and service to the nation and the judiciary.



According to Yemen News Agency, in the message, Deputy Speaker Atiyah praised the virtues of the deceased, highlighting his contributions in serving his country, society, and nation. He noted that Judge Al-Salmi served with sincerity and dedication in all the positions he held, most recently as Head of the Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum.



The Deputy Speaker pointed out that Yemen has lost one of its finest figures with the passing of Al-Salmi, a devoted individual in serving the country, society, and justice. He was described as a model of a responsible judge, fulfilling the duties assigned to him.



Deputy Speaker Atiyah expressed his sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the sons of the deceased, his family, and the Al-Salmi household over this great loss. He prayed to Allah Almighty to shower Al-Salmi with vast mercy, forgiveness, grant him eternal paradise, and inspire his family with patience and solace.
