Sanaa: The Parliament Speaker, Yahya Ali al-Ra'i, congratulated the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, the members of the Council, the heroes of the Armed Forces and Security Forces, and the Yemeni people on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
According to Yemen News Agency, on behalf of himself, the Presidium, members of Parliament, and its General Secretariat, the Speaker of Parliament extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes on this religious occasion, which coincides with the military victories and security successes achieved by the Armed Forces and Security Forces in defense of the homeland and its sovereignty, the dignity of the nation, the Palestinian cause, and in confronting economic and political challenges posed by the aggression coalition against the Yemeni people.
He commended the signing of the prisoner exchange agreement, considering it a significant and wise step reflecting the dedication of the Revolution's leader and the political leadership to prioritize humanitarian issues. He called for strengthening national unity, deepening social cohesion, and rejecting division and isolation among the people of the same nation.
The Speaker of Parliament reiterated the commitment to continued steadfastness and resilience, imbued with a spirit of responsibility, and to upholding the principles and values of freedom, independence, and full sovereignty over all Yemeni lands, islands, and waters.
He prayed to Allah Almighty that this occasion would return to everyone with health and well-being, to the homeland with glory, victory, and empowerment, and to the Arab and Islamic nation with greater brotherhood and solidarity in confronting its challenges.
