Bani hoshaish: Bani Hoshaish District in Sana'a Governorate witnessed a significant cultural movement over the past two days with the organization of more than 30 cultural and oratorical evenings celebrating the Prophet's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, the evenings were held in the villages of Rajam al-A'la, Rajam al-Asfal, Dhi Marmar, al-Malika, Sarf, Sa'wan, al-Rawna, Ghadhran, al-Abna', Ayal Malik, and al-Shurfa. The events were attended by members of the House of Representatives, Yahya al-Qadi, Shura Council members Fadl Mane' and Muhammad Mufaddal, the Secretary of the Local Council of the Governorate Abdul Qadir al-Jilani, Deputy Governor Mane' al-Aghrabi, Mobilization Officer Fayez al-Hanami, District Director Rajih al-Hanami, Secretary of the Local Council Ibrahim al-Jilani, District Mobilization Officer Walid al-Arkada, Head of the Education Sector Sabri al-Qahim, and the mobilization officers of the villages.
The speeches delivered during these evenings focused on the importance of emulating the morals and qualities of the Prophet Muhammad, celebrating his birth, expressing love for him, and following his guidance, values, and ethics. They also addressed the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birth amidst the challenges facing the Muslim world, highlighting the Yemeni people's steadfast support for Palestine as an extension of the Prophetic approach of supporting the oppressed.
The celebration was seen as an opportunity to praise Allah Almighty, renew allegiance to Him, and express gratitude for the blessing of the final Prophet, who was sent as a mercy to all mankind. The speeches reviewed the state of the Muslim community before Islam, recounted key moments from the Prophet's life, and discussed his virtues, character, and noble qualities.
