Educational Activities Held in Sana’a to Commemorate Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Sana'a: Al-Nasr Bayt Bous Model School in Bani Matar District, Sana'a Governorate, organized a celebratory festival and scientific exhibition on Wednesday to honor the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The event underscored the significance of integrating the Prophet's teachings into both moral and educational practices.

According to Yemen News Agency, First Deputy Governor of Sana'a, Hamid Asim, emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from the Prophet's life to enhance faith-based and moral values. He urged widespread participation in the central celebration at Al-Sabeen Square, highlighting the occasion's communal and spiritual significance.

Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Houri, Deputy Chairman of the General Authority for Science, Research, Technology and Innovation, remarked that the event reinforces values of love, mercy, and solidarity, encouraging students to embody these principles in their daily lives. Educational Sector official Amin Majal praised the collaboration between school administrations and students, noting the high level of preparation and organization for the event.

The celebration featured a radio program, chants, and a theatrical performance by female students, followed by the opening of a scientific exhibition showcasing innovations and educational models. The event attracted numerous officials, including Inspection and Oversight Director Saddam Al-Adhari, Girls' Education Director Aisha Al-Yarimi, and several educational and social leaders.

In Sanhan District, Rabee Al-Nasr School held a similar celebration where Governorate official Talib Dahan noted that the Yemeni people's festivities reflect their devotion to the Prophet and their commitment to emulating his example. The event included a poem by poet Dhaifullah Al-Rajhi, complemented by chants and musical performances, further enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.

In Al-Haymah Al-Dakhiliyah District, a cultural and artistic event was organized in Bani Al-Siyagh subdistrict, supported by the General Mobilization. The event was attended by various officials, including General Mobilization official Mukhtar Al-Siyaghi and District Security Director Col. Hussein Dhafer. Abdulkarim Al-Khabat, Director of the Quran Education Department, highlighted the event as an educational opportunity to instill the values and morals embodied by the Prophet Muhammad.

Educational Sector official Abdulkarim Al-Quraifi emphasized that the Yemenis' stance on issues affecting the Muslim nation, particularly the Palestinian cause, demonstrates their deep connection to the Prophet and their faith-centered identity.
