Sana'a: Republican Teaching Hospital in Sana'a organized a speech event today to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (1448 AH). During the event, the hospital's director, Dr. Mohammed Jahaf, emphasized the importance of the occasion, which serves as a reminder of the life and teachings of the final Prophet and Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. He highlighted values such as jihad, justice, and solidarity in confronting enemies, which the Prophet's life embodies.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Jahaf also spoke about the hospital's advancements in providing medical and therapeutic services, noting significant achievements and developments. He announced plans for expanding services at the organ transplant center, including kidney, liver, cornea, and stem cell transplants. Additionally, he mentioned the complete automation of appointment bookings for clinics and consultations. Dr. Jahaf attributed these accomplishments to the collective efforts of the medical, administrative, and technical staff, stressing the importance of their responsibility in delivering essential humanitarian services.
He further remarked that celebrating this religious occasion reinforces allegiance to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), viewing it as a lifestyle and a path of moral integrity. This allegiance is reflected in the hospital's commitment to alleviating the suffering of the sick and needy, in line with the Prophet's message.
Cultural activist Ali Mujmal also participated in the event, highlighting the significance of renewing love and loyalty to Allah and His Messenger, and adhering to the Prophetic methodology. The event, which was attended by deputies, assistants, advisors, and the hospital's staff, featured a presentation on the hospital's achievements, a poem, and a choral performance celebrating the occasion.
