Party Commemorates Badr Battle in Sabeen District, Sana’a City

Sana'a: The Mobilization Department in the Al-Sabeen district of Sana'a organized a cultural event to commemorate the Battle of Badr for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan "The Day of Distinction."

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the district director, Muhammad Al-Washli, along with various local and social figures. The head of the Jihadist Culture Department, Hussein Al-Jubain, highlighted the importance of the Battle of Badr in understanding divine support for the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him, his family, and his companions) in facing opposition forces.

Al-Jubain explained that the Battle of Badr was a decisive confrontation between truth and falsehood, marking a significant victory for Muslims over polytheists. He noted that the Holy Quran provides detailed descriptions of the battle's preparations and tactics. The event emphasized the battle's significance in supporting truth and the oppressed, and recalled themes of steadfastness and sacrifice in the path of Allah.

The gathering included local, executive, and mobilization leaders, sheikhs, tribal elders, and citizens, underscoring the community's collective remembrance of this pivotal historical event.
