Sanaa: Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi sent a cable of condolences on the death of Shura Council member, activist, and poet Saleh Abdullah Nasser Sayel, who passed away at the age of 82. Sayel dedicated most of his life to serving his homeland.
According to Yemen News Agency, in the telegram sent to the son of the deceased, Mohammed, as well as the entire Sayel family in the Lower Markha District, Shabwa province, the Prime Minister extolled the virtues and nationalistic efforts of the late activist. Sayel was recognized for his roles in the Yemeni Revolution of September 26 and October 14 and his contributions to the re-establishment of Yemeni unity. He was noted for his staunch opposition to the Saudi-UAE-US coalition's aggression and occupation, standing firmly by his country from the onset of the conflict until his passing.
Al-Rahwi conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the deceased's family, colleagues, and friends, praying for divine mercy and forgiveness for Sayel. He hoped for eternal rest for the late activist and that his family and loved ones would find patience and solace in their time of grief.
