Sana'a: The President of the Supreme Political Council Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat said Saudi Arabia's false claims that Yemen is targeting Mecca are a desperate attempt to rally public opinion, despite growing awareness of the Saudi regime's actions against the Kaaba, the Holy Quran and the Two Holy Mosques using the nation's wealth.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Mashat stated that the Yemeni people have demonstrated deep faith and commitment to Islamic holy sites and are prepared to sacrifice in defense of the Grand Mosque, just as they have supported Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in Islam. He emphasized that Yemenis have repeatedly taken to the streets in protest against offenses to Islamic sanctities, including the Quran, Prophet Muhammad, Mecca, and Al-Aqsa.
Al-Mashat also criticized the Saudi regime for failing to rally Muslim peoples when 'criminal Trump' depicted the Kaaba in an inappropriate manner. He noted, 'Those who gave Epstein the Kaaba's cover are the ones targeting Mecca and Islamic holy sites,' and stressed that such claims no longer deceive Arab and Muslim peoples, just as earlier claims about threats to international navigation failed to do so.
