Sana'a: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index experienced a modest rise on Monday, closing at 7540.83 points. This marks an increase of 5.9 points, or 0.08 percent, from the previous trading session's close of 7534.98 points. According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value for the day reached 61,562,805 Omani rials. This shows an increase of 10.95 percent compared to the previous session's trading value of 55,487,840 Omani rials. The daily report from the Muscat Stock Exchange highlighted an increase in market capitalization by 0.159 percent, which now stands at approximately 38.32 billion Omani rials. Non-Omani investors played a significant role, with purchases amounting to 10 million and 478 thousand Omani riyals, representing 17.02 percent. However, their sales were slightly higher, totaling 10 million and 861 thousand Omani riyals, making up 17.64 percent. As a result, the net non-Omani investment decreased by 383 thousand Omani riyals, representing a 0.62 percent drop.
