Sana'a: Al-Irtiqa'a Private Schools - Boys' Center in Al-Thawra District recently held a speech event to commemorate the birth of Prophet Mohammed. The event highlighted the significance of the Prophet's teachings and his impact on contemporary life.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Capital Secretariat Undersecretary Sharaf Al-Hadi and Sheikh Saleh Al-Khawlani, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association. Sheikh Al-Khawlani emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from the Prophet's noble biography, struggle, and moral conduct. He encouraged students to familiarize themselves with the luminous life of the Prophet and his Ahl al-Bayt, and to emulate his morals and conduct.
Sheikh Al-Khawlani further described the commemoration as a spiritual occasion to recall the qualities and virtues embodied by the Prophet in his actions and principles for the Muslim nation. The event featured a variety of performances, including a traditional heritage display, a poem by Fahd Al-Hayafi, an educational play, and an operetta performed by students.
The program also included a patriotic performance titled 'Victory After the Siege,' which conveyed themes of resilience and hope, as well as a Mawlid chant named 'The Full Moon Has Risen Over Us.'
