President of Al Mahwit University Reviews Summer Course Activities

Al mahwit: The President of Al Mahwit University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shalabi, inspected the summer course activities at the Martyr Al-Malasi Center in Al Mahwit city.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, Dr. Al-Shalabi, accompanied by his deputy for student affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Awadi, cultural advisor Dr. Khaled Al-Qazhi, and several academic and administrative leaders, assessed the progress of educational, cultural, pedagogical, and sports activities implemented by the center. These programs aim to develop students' skills and enhance their abilities across various fields.

The team received a briefing from the center's director, Mohammed Al-Ariji, regarding the implemented programs, work mechanisms, student engagement levels, and efforts to create a stimulating and safe educational environment. This environment is designed to achieve the goals of the summer courses.

The University President commended the organization and preparation of the activities, acknowledging the center's efforts in offering programs that contribute to building students' personalities and developing their awareness. He emphasized that these courses are crucial for preparing a generation capable of bearing responsibility.

Dr. Al-Shalabi highlighted that summer courses provide an opportunity to utilize young people's free time constructively, fostering learning and creativity while developing their abilities across different fields.

He underscored the importance of coordinated efforts from official and community entities to ensure the success of these programs. This contributes to preparing an educated and qualified generation equipped with knowledge and awareness to face challenges.

Furthermore, Dr. Al-Shalabi urged the protection of youth and adolescents from the threats of cultural influences by enhancing awareness, consolidating cultural identity, and building a value system rooted in knowledge, science, and faith-based principles.
